We have been extremely impressed not only with the SkillsForge platform itself, which has been flexibly designed to meet Warwick’s professional development needs, but also with the professionalism, service, and openness of the team throughout contracting, the launch and beyond.

Our postgraduate research students, academic staff, and event providers love the intuitive way the system works. The PGRs especially like the ability to easily self-record activities and book onto courses, and that they can evidence their professional development in a single user friendly portal. One of the real wins for us was the collaborative design of the visual device which represents development undertaken; it is seamless to users but we are aware of how much work behind the scenes this was to develop, and were appreciative of SkillsForge’s flexibility and input.

SkillsForge’s understanding of the HDR space and highly-configurable platform was invaluable to building a bespoke product that meets our unique objectives. With CaRST Online, students are now able to track their progress against our specific program requirements in real-time. They also have access to skills assessment and development planning tools to inform their future goals and activities. Moreover, it has reduced the administrative workload for both students and staff and provides a measure of quality control of HDR skills development across the University.

Inspire (SkillsForge) was SUPER easy to claim for my relocation allowance this year. Too easy! I was aware I could claim for my relocation allowance back in 2017 and I did intend to do it back then but it really fell into the too hard basket. As a new student, I had no idea who to talk to for the paper work etc and since then I’d mostly forgot about it… I wish the college funding was accessible this way too. Inspire is really great.
